Amr is a Certified Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) from Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), certified PMP, and Adjudicator for Administrative Agencies, Boards & Tribunals. Amr is MTO registered Advanced Issues Resolution TLT131.
Amr holds broad experience in Capital Construction Projects, Contracts and Claims Management. He has an extensive knowledge in the interpretation of Contract Law, and Ontario legislation. His skill in writing both technical and non-technical contract T&Cs, and specifications, is proven all-round professionals in engineering, legal, risk, technical, financial and commercial functions.

Born in Cairo, Amr was graduated from a French school before obtaining his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering [1989], Post-graduate studies in Structures [1991], LL.B. in Law [2003], LL.M. in international Business Law [2012] from Indiana University, and his GPLLM from University of Toronto in Canadian Law concentration. Amr has started his career with a Multi-national Consultancy Firm as Bridges & Special Structures Engineer, and landed as Legal Counsel for an Oil & Gas Corporation. With an accumulated 30+ years of experience in the Construction industry and Energy sector, Amr held diversified positions in Mega Projects and Corporate Business, including Project Manager, Asset and Real Estate Supervisor, Customer Service Manager, and Legal Counsel, until settling in Ontario. With a strong asset base, Amr worked in the Food and Beverages industry, before joining the Ontario Regional Transportation Mega Program as a leader in the Capital Projects Group.
Amr was an Olympic diver, and currently practices swimming and Japanese Aikido; he is a father of two.
